The idea for this article came to me when I was watching a News show.
One of the panelists congratulated another for not “misgendering” a Biological man.
It struck me that this was a handy encapsulation of what is wrong with moral relativism and even considering the notion that there is no such thing as objective truth.
George Orwell in his book 1984, wrote about Doublespeak.
Wikipedia says “ Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. Doublespeak may take the form of euphemisms (e.g., “downsizing” for layoffs and “servicing the target” for bombing),[1] in which case it is primarily meant to make the truth sound more palatable. It may also refer to intentional ambiguity in language or to actual inversions of meaning. In such cases, doublespeak disguises the nature of the truth.
Doublespeak is most closely associated with political language used by large entities such as corporations and governments.”
IF we can get people to agree that a Biological male is “female”, there is very little they can’t be made to accept or believe.
Refusing to call someone what they wish to be called is NOT “misgendering”.
In point of fact, capitulating to their wishes and going along with something you KNOW is untrue, is the true misgendering.
Do we see what is happening here?
Murdering the unborn is “reproductive choice”.
A person born Biologically male can be a woman..
Pick your issue, Gun-Control, Borders, Illegal Immigration, Socialism, etc
We have people attempting to control thoughts, beliefs, and policy by twisting and perverting clear language.
One of the classic hallmarks of mental illness is the belief that one is something they clearly are NOT.
Example, if a person claims they are a motor boat, we can safely assume they are in need of mental help.
Yet, when a grown man over 6 feet tall claims they’re a female, many champion him as a hero!
We are as we are at birth, no matter how we feel, what we want, or what we do.
As Ben Shapiro often says, “Facts don’t care about your feelings”.
Even if a male has full a “sex re-assignment” (another STELLAR example of doublespeak, if ever I’ve heard one), they will NEVER be a woman. They have no womb, their “vagina” has no nerve endings, and they remain, genetically male.
Death has often been called the great equalizer. Interestingly, when we die, a coroner can tell, just by inspecting the bones, if we are male or female, and a DNA profile (say from bone marrow) tells us XX=F or XY=M, no amount of “belief” or “gender affirming” care can ever change this.
We do a person no good by feeding into their delusions and prevent them from getting the help they need.
Please look at “Ashley Webb”. This is clearly a disturbed person in need of honest, loving, support.
